Swiftech H220 + HAF 912 Adv. = Somehow make it work?

I have a HAF 912 Advanced case and look into getting the Swiftech H220.It's total thickness is 29+25=54mm and the space between the top and my motherboard is only 45-6mm.The 8pin is directly on top of my motehrboard so i won't be able to have the radiator and fans a bit over the board. It'll be only possible with modding if I want top, right? Or will I be able to use thin 12mm fans or they won't have good cooling performance This one ? Will i be able to detach the stock fans and install the fans on top of the case and the radiator inside with long screws? Something like that : Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I've been thinking about something else too.Installing the radiator like that: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
In short,to not screw the radiator in the holes that are made for it but in the other holes of the grill in the top, more toward the other side of the case so that it doesn't interfere with my 8pin connector? I've seen few guys doing it with H100,don't know if it's going to work with the H220.The only bad thing - i won't be able to screw all the screws, only few which i hope will give me enough good hold. Will it work that way or will the radiator be too loose?
It'll probably work installing it in the front too but i really don't want to do it.So what do you think? Will i be able to make it work somehow? I guess i'll be able to make some holes if it's really necessary on the top if i'm going to use the second method.
To sum things up:
1) Will i be able to detach the stock fans and use slim fans and will their performance be worse?
2) Will i be able to detach the stock fans and install them on top of the case while the radiator is in it?
3) Will i be able to install the radiator + fans internally if i screw the radiator in other holes of the grill that are more toward the other side of the case, not the intended ones?
Thx in advance!
