Hello all,

I just need an air cooler that'll keep it cooler than stock while making it quieter. And no, I do not plan on overclocking biggrin.gif

One 120mm fan in the top-back.. das it. And in terms of budget I'd say around $30-40? I purchased a Hyper 212 for my B55 a couple years ago for $30 and it's still going and is virtually inaudible. Are they good for AM3+?

Thermalright true spirit 120m, wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't good. Bought myself one for a fx-8320, runs cool, quiet too, i can hear my case fans over this thing (though one of the case fans is somewhat loud rolleyes.gif), but really, i like it, was easy to install, not that big and you can make a push-pull setup if you want.

sure if you think that tje 212 was inaudible, then it really doesnt matter too much. It's still a decent choice, if you want to spend a little more (40$) i i would recommend a Thermalright HR-02 Macho.

Great feedback! I really appreciate it. A buddy of mine recently did away with his desktop and has a watercooler for his CPU just laying around. If it's compatible then I'll just jump right on that otherwise I'll take this thread as reference biggrin.gif
