Tear down and rebuild.. help with purchases

Thread Starter
Gonna buy this stuff on frozencpu bc im enjoying the new free shipping deal.

I have a tj07 murdermod build that I did about 2 years ago. Im going to do a full tear down/clean/refill thats needed to be done for a while.

Id like to buy new tubing, add a drain port, get a new silver coil (is this still a trust worthy anti algea thing?), and replace the water. Is there a preferred coolant now or is it still just distilled + coils?

My current tubing is PrimoFlex Pro LRT Black Tubing -7/16in. ID X 5/8in is this still the preferred tubing or is there a better one? Ive had some kinking problems with this tubing that annoys me.
If you could tell me what parts I need to buy to add a drain port to my system id really appreciate it.

Thanks guys.. a little behind in the times

These days about the only accepted coolant is Mayhem's Pastel/X1 line. Great looking stuff, and works really well too from personal experience. As for tubing I normally use masterkleer or clearflex tubing. For a drain port it depends on how you'd like to do it. For example, I had a 240mm alphacool nexxxos ut60 in the bottom of my case, which has a drain port on the opposite side of the inlet and outlet where I just put a threaded QDC, and just plugged in the female side with a tube to it whenever I wanted to drain it.

Distilled water is the preferred. But if you want colored coolant go with the Mayhem's, I've never used it but it seems to be the recommended.
