I agree. The dual 80mms in my PSU are by no means quiet, but unless I'm really thinking about it, you don't notice it. I'm usualy listening to music when on the computer though, so that sure helps drwon them out.

I'd buy a fan more on power draw and CFM than anything else. You'll get used to the noise, but you'll never become accustomed to poor performance.

true. I'm actually thinking of buying another one to hook up to the top of the case. plus trying to find a 120x120x25 delta fan that blows just about the same if not more air for my tuniq

pretty ridiculous, it was this fan exactly, I wouldn't be suprised if it was pushing 120CFM+.. definitely a huge improvement but it probably went up to about 55db. I was holding it with one hand and it was definitely scary..

its not even a laughing matter lol, I was doing the same thing with those 12v 130 CFM fans from ebay.... If you just move your hand wrong, it starts moving all over the places, it was scary as all hell. And just a little for warning, they can easily go through skin, and into finger nail, and to the bone, pretty dam easily... I know from first hand experience.

I can vouch for that. granted not through finger part but the fact they can cut good. my friend was using it to take the tip off his cigar and it did so without too much of a fuss.

but come on they don't move that bad when you wiggle them. that or maybe I just have worked my hand muscles too much
