Very tidy! I still have 50+ gpus here, but looks like someone threw a bomb in the living room & closed the door.

Only card I have laying around and not being used is an old 8800gt that I've baked once and it crashes on load again, so it sits in a drawer for my toddler to play with. She loves computer parts (wonder where that came from) and if I'm gonna let her play with something it might as well be that. Other than that I've lent them out to friends and family or keep them as a testing part. Always good to have spare "known good" parts.

Resell them before they become worthless.I won't get the whole amount back, but at least I'll get some of it back. I can then use that to buy new stuff.
Also guys,it is requested that you don't try and circumvent our FS policy. If you want to give your card away, please do it through conventional means and not post it outside the FS section.

I personally bench then for the team on Hwbots and then sell them.If any was to come my way for the low cost of shipping.I would bench them get some points for the team and share them to other members.

Thread Starter
I'll keep the 8800 for nostalgia, and an emergency GTX285 for just that and troubleshooting...god have mercy on my soul if the Titan has problems down the road biggrin.gif lol.

[edited to not break policy]

thanks for reminder

He was asking what people do with their old cards and even suggested making a trophy cabinet for them. Someone said I would take one off your hands and he is giving it to him for free. Hardly circumventing OCN for sale policy.

I guess if I close my eyes and turn my head sideways it sort of appears that way?

1. I pass it down to a second rig.
2. Take the card from the second rig and resell that card.
3. Use the money toward new card for main rig. thumb.gif

My comment was a general statement and directed towards everyone that does try to giveaway their cards here not specifically to the OP wink.gif.

I'd love to get one of those sports trophy cases and put them all in it, but my lady here does not see the artistic beauty hehe. I've been threatened. biggrin.gifbuttkick.gif

tell your lady friend to threaten you to give me your 590 or 580 smile.gif thats alot of gpu to be laying around collecting dust tonguesmiley.gif
