Trixx or Afterburner? - Page 2

I unfortunately have to use GPU Tweak as it is the only thing that can control Matrix 2nd fan, voltage and Load Line Calibration. But i use GPU Tweak for overclocking, AB for monitoring/frame limiter.

Trixx allows you to have a custom fan profile for each OC profile.

Voltage control in AB doesn't work for Vapor-X cards, which is unfortunate too. But I agree that AB is the best monitoring tool. The overlay and the LCD app are very useful.

What i meant by better custom fan controls - is that Trix fan "steps" up the fan speed once it hits a threshold (at least the last time i checked). While AB gradually increases fan speed.

I'm using Trixx because I had a problem with desktop flickering every now and then when I was webbing and stuff on desktop (even with gpu stock speed), I'm trying to find out if the problem is AB and I uninstalled it. Unfortunately it seems trixx do not really change the VDDC as I can see in GPU-Z. Is there a way to make that works without using AB?
Thanks

I use afterburner (startup > minimized mode) for fps cap and OSD.

There is a modded Trixx floating around that allows 1.38vcore and 1.8vmem instead of 1.3/1.7 on normall trixx/afterburner.

So on hd7900 series TRIXX is king thumb.gif

Actually it doesn't change my vddc... maybe my card is locked and I THOUGHT that AB changed it but it didn't.
