What type of cylinder res are good? I am interested in one but about half the size, i've looked at Bitspower and EK not sure which are the most quality... Seems EK's has too many rules to the cylinder res as far as the size of the threads for certain ports.

I just need something not to small that I can mount to my case like this user has and have a decent amount of water!

How about a Phobya Balancer?

They come in a range of different lengths and have a very nice set of connection options. In terms of quality there is not that big of a different between the major brands.

I've owned an EK 150 cylinder res once...since then one 40mm BP, one 250mm BP, and two 80mm BP cylinder reservoirs. Working with an 80mm BP res in my current build. I love the BP reservoirs, they're built great and look sexy. Here is the 80mm currently used to give an idea of the size (Click to show)

I really like the EK Multioption X2/X3 Advanced Reservoirs, but the clamps they come with are just horrible. Seriously, I was delayed for over a month because NOTHING would make the clamps hold even the empty res! I finally managed to get a set of Bitspower reservoir clamps, and now I love the res.... Just be aware of how much the EK clamps suck before you buy.

The Bitspower reservoirs are top-notch as well, and the ones with the crystal end caps look fantastic in any build!

Koolance reservoirs are nice as well. They have 2 different diameters to choose from (60mm and 80mm) and their reservoir bases have 4 ports to choose from:

The height of the reservoirs vary from any of the following: 30mm, 50mm, 80mm, 120mm, 200mm, 240mm.

They also make couplers (with nozzles or without) to attach similar diameter reservoirs together for a "custom" height.

Trying to grasp a concept here.. a cyclinder could be placed between a radiator and the primary reservoir/pump as a passive heat dispersion device yes? The longer the path to the next heat source, the cooler the fluid becomes..So a big cylinder = large capacity of fluid in the system..I have seen cyclinders with coils in them..Please excuse me if I'm a bit off subject but I am considering a cylinder as a passive heat exchanger..
