Finally someone has the balls to say it.

And I wanted to add that I hate all users saying "you are very kind for answering"; this guy is here to do business, he's paid to sell his products. He's not kind for talking stuff about his products - He's doing marketing here that's why his old post got deleted. Skylit, Derp, Bullevyr and the list goes on are kind to talk with us about things that they're not being refunded for doing it.

My initial thought is it's to block the light, so that it bounces back onto the surface directly in front of the eye. Or... it is simply supposed to be another foot.

What are the native steps for the G100S again? As stated in the original post. In the driver can I set which steps to cycle through, then uninstall the drivers and retain them?

Controller is a cheaper otp solution. Mouse will default @ 1000/1750/2500 (cycle) and 500hz without drivers. (Read only)

Chris stated they were all native, but I have a feeling some are halved from higher registries. He would have to comment if you want a conformation.

So Skylit do you think this qualifies as a replacement to my deathadder atm? (i.e did you replace yours)

I really do favor slightly smaller shapes, so I think shape alone might justify it.

Still waiting for a real review. Or at least an answer to: how the G100s feels ingame @ 1000 DPI (125hz) compared to G1 @ 1000 DPI (125hz) (125hz, bcs the G1 doesn't run at 500hz, even with hidusb)

Not sure if it's worth for the "non prediction" alone. Bcs i would use it at 1000 DPI anyway. (not to forget i prefer the G1 shape over the G100) I just don't want to spent another 40-50 euros for the new G100 just to find out (as the first G100 was such a waste and im waiting for BST mouse anyway)

I think skylit already said everything important. "Feel" is completely subjective.

+1,

I'd like it if he spoke a little to the point of feel in comparison with other mice that we all have experience with, but at the end of the day, a long paragraph on subjective immeasurable perceptions are far from required to call something a "real review."

We've come to the point where new terminology needs to be used.
How about no noticeable sensor bugs or issues? biggrin.gif
The g400s doesn't offer much more than the previous version. Different coating, pretty much same internals and performance.

He has answered a number of question, obviously he's not in a position to answer all of them.

I think Skylt wont promote (review) the mouse any further anyway, since he is beta tester of the aurora ;P
