Is G100s suited for fingertip or claw grip more (or is it both)? I've seen many people praise Logitech G100 but never got a chance to try it because it wasn't available over here. Probably going to get G100s eventually, price seems reasonable, I hope retailers will sell it for less than $40 after it's released.

Same question here. I know Logitech claims that it's a new sensor but it sure sounds like a tweaked 3050.

Newegg release date is 04/08/2013. I would hope pre-ordering from Logitech directly would get you the mouse sooner than that.

Excited for the review.

The thing about the G100 that nearly made it worth the purchase (dispite the unusable sensor) was discovering what an extremely pleasant shape it was for my preferences.
It's like a G1, but a tiny bit longer. Perfect for my grp, which is some kind of bastardized claw-palm type thing.

Cautiously optimistic, becuase if this sensor is passable, it'll almost definitely be my new mouse. thumb.gif

Thanks for the responses guys. Yea I ordered from Logitech directly, so I guess we'll see in a few weeks. Remaining cautiously optimistic, and am fairly interested to see the internals of this thing once I get it.

Expected date of delivery is apr 1 thumb.gif

edit: whoa, 39 dollar mouse came out to be 80 after shipping and taxes. I guess i'm waiting for a slightly less insane priced place to buy from

edit #2 ****it, re ordered.

$80? That seems like overnight shipping or something.

shipping was 34 usd, the remaining amount was reserved for import fees or something like that.

I agree though, for that price it should be overnight. Amazon sucks for anyone who doesn't live in the USA imo. Let's just hope the mouse works as advertised. If there is any problem you can bet I'll be returning it directly to logitech instantly.
