New Logitech G-Series - Page 6

Unless you change grips often it shouldn't happen, once I figured out I like the non palm type grip I never changed it again, and mine didn't end up rattling. Although after a year I ended up selling my G9x because it was a bit too wide with the grip.

Just ordered a G100s, will arrive next week. Only had good experiences with logitech gear on my end, hoping it continues. Hopefully it can replace my Abysuss.

And I expect a thorough review by you, including jitter and max tracking tests to get an estimate of the sensor's performance biggrin.gif

As there's a Logitech Rep in this thread just wondering if you know when the UK site might have them up for sale?

I do not have insight into that - my best guess would be sometime in May.

I used the G9 with the textured grip for a long time and got used to the shape, after a while the grip coming loose and moving like barely 1mm? when the mouse is lifted started to bug me, so I contacted Logitech about getting a new grip and they just sent me a G9x which I used for a few more years, though the grip did come loose on that one too after around one week xD I just accepted it at that point and wedged a piece of paper in there to stop it moving, the shape is just so suited to the way I hold a mouse while gaming and I've used it for so long I don't really want to adapt to something else but I guess I'll have to.

I had hoped they would of at least had a refresh of the G9x with said issue fixed..

The only weakness with the G9/G9x as far as I'm concerned, is the hateful scroll wheel. It's a thing of evil to try to press for middle mouse button. The rubber on the wheel eventually gets sticky and it's impossible to clean. It also sounds like a cheese grater run over a car hood when you scroll it (not in free mode).

Outside of that, I love that mouse. If your shell is loose it's likely just not seated right, or the pegs holding the shell in are faulty.
