There is nvidia 313.26 in experimental, might try that. But it could be buggy.

Yeah just pull from a different repo. What I do, at least if I'm running Debian, is use their package search to find what I want.


http://packages.debian.org/search?suite=default&section=all&arch=any&searchon=names&keywords=nvidia

Then enable the repo that corresponds to the version I want, get ONLY what I want (driver and what it requres, xorg ect...) and disable the repo after. It's the best way I have found to pull from testing/sid/experimental without tainting your current install too much.

The better solution is to build your own .deb installs off of the current nvidia packages. It's more work, a lot more. lol! I ended up doing that in the end, because nvidia has beta drivers that will simply not show up. I'm alwas up to date in drivers, always.
