[Digtimes]AMD to cut APU prices in April - Page 2

AMD APU's are great, I just dont have the use for them. Now if they release the PS4 APU I might be interested for like a HTPC.

They're releasing a 'cut down' version of the Jaguar APU that is in the PS4, we'll have to see how cut down it actually is.

What sort of illegal / unethical practices, and do you have a source?

If you need more GPU horsepower then you either get a GPU which smokes anything integrated including APU stuff or you deal with crap Intel HD graphics.

The real appeal of APUS is they can push more performance out of a low end GPUs that don't need additional power like the HD 7750 (right now it can only pair with HD6670).

It's common knowledge Intel made deals with OEMs to put Intel CPUs in their PCs. Lenovo in particular.

"Stop selling AMD or we'll cut you off" isn't exactly what I'd call 'making a deal' wink.gif

and thanks to the mod to adjusted thread if it was not in the correct section..

I saw mentioning of the PS4 back in the thread, some God of War - Ascension is it.?
only reason I'd get a PS4 is to play all the GoW games.. biggrin.gif

edit:
and I have had the IMC go out on my i3-2120 chip recently
and as for AMD, I had a P2 X4 840 that all of a sudden burned out on me.. turn brownish up top and all that.
still ran though.... just couldn't get the temps under 84C... devil.gif
