I have owned and used an H50 for the past year in my HAF 912 case. It's a very ghetto setup. I have 3 fans pushing air into it and one fan pulling air through the rear vent of the case.

After upgrading my 560 Ti to a 7970 the overall internal dB has increased (and my temps are still as high as they used to be so I can't OC above 4.2GHz). Should I upgrade to an H100i or maybe even a custom loop (do I have to refill it with water routinely? I heard something about that somewhere), OR should I stick with the H50 and upgrade the fans? The currently installed fans are very low-end. I took a few of them out of an old NZXT laptop cooler.

Tell me what you think!

I say go full out Custom Watercooling. Much better performance and better look of your system.
Yes the price is a bit on the high side, but worth it in the long run.
