My first rig and a hello

Been lurking for a few weeks here and figured I should create an account and say hi. Been wanting to build a computer since 2008 and just a few weeks ago in was finally able to do so. Glad to have a site with so much knowledge and info to look at and see. I have started a new addiction that my wallet will not like, you guys should be ashamed for being enablers haha.

I know my cable management could be better lol. I'm working on it.

Thanks for looking and I'm sure you'll see me around.

I always say that for a first time builder, it will be much easier to get a modular, but nice job without one once again!

I think my next step is to get some individually braided extenders in blue to make it look better and to go along with the theme I'm trying to achieve.

I know I totally spaced getting a modular PSU. I actually didn't even know the difference until after I bought it and googled it lol. Oh well it does good for now. And thank you!

welcome to the forums man.
you can do some better cable management there. the 8pin for the mother board should be routed from down there and gets out from the top grommet.
gpu power also should be routed from the bottom grommet going to the one beside the gpu.

if you run low on length. you can buy nice braided extensions from any site for good prices biggrin.gif

Have fun and welcome again to the forums.

Have fun and welcome again to the forums.

The 8 pin is actually too short to be routed through the top one, hence why it is how it is. I have my eye on some nice blue/black multibraided extensions to clean the inside up a bit and theme it a little.

Thank you for the advice!

Welcome to OCN!
P.S. It's time to use a 8pin extender. wink.gif
