Thread Starter
I wasn't really sure I wanted to make another one of these help me buy topics but I'm gonna do it any way. I had a Gigabyte Z77 UP5 TH but had problems with the 2 boards that I had. I really don't want to go into details of the problems I had with them here. So please no Gigabyte boards. Things to consider are.

My budget is $210 (US Dollars for those that aren't in America).
I would like an Intel nic. I really like this.
It needs to be a dark color scheme or Black/Red.
Mostly for gaming, surfing the internet, using office 2010, watching online videos, and various other activities.
What is going with it should be in my sig.
I also have to buy it from Newegg.com because of the store credit refund.

I have some contenders but I finally settled on one of them.

1. MSI Z77A-GD65
2. Asus P8Z77-V
3. Asus Maximus V Gene

I threw two of them out for either one or two reasons and they are

1. Offset - There is no offset on this board. The only really downside that I could see.
2. Color - It's a bright color and I am trying to go for a dark color scheme I have a window in my case so I would see this everyday.

For the one I picked is number 3 the only downside is it is matx but that really isn't a downside to me everything else fits what I want. So what do you of Overclock.net think?

As long as you don't need room for anything more than the two PCIe 3.0 x8 expansion slots for video cards, there's really no problem going with mATX.
