Looking to fix up my computer but...

Thread Starter
I actually don't know what I need to fix it. My build should be posted below, right? But yeah, one day, I restarted my computer, and then boom, no graphics. The power light would be on but nothing comes up on the monitor. From what I've been told, either my mobo or gpu is fried. I haven't had the chance to reach a definitive diagnosis by moving my gpu to another computer. Assuming it's my mobo, is there an alternative that I can get to better suit my hard drive's speed (3.0 gb/s) as well as be compatible with my cpu? Anything that's newer and better than the M4A79 Deluxe that I can upgrade to while fulfilling the aforementioned criteria? Also, if there's anything else I can do to improve my budget based rig, advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and I'll even take critique constructively.

Hmm. What power supply do you have? What's the make and model?

If your motherboard has onboard graphics you could try removing the graphics card and plugging into onboard. Assuming it's still posting and such and it's only that the video isn't working. I assume you've already tried pulling the battery on the motherboard?
