ASUS P8Z77-V LE ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
ASUS DRW-24B1ST 24X SATA DVD Writer OEM Black
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline Frostbyte 8GB 2X4GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600 C9-9-9-24 Dual Channel Memory Kit

Your problem is probably that Coolmax makes terrible PSUs. Your system should be fine on a 500w PSU but it has to be a good unit.

if that be the case what would your suggestion be?

Your PSU is not very good and if you load a subpar PSU´s above 80% there is a chance it could blow or at least affect your system in a bad way

What would you suggest for a decent PSU(fairly cheap)
Any of the 500-550 watts units from this list http://www.overclock.net/t/183810/faq-recommended-power-supplies

The XFX 550 watts is a good bang for buck PSU and the inside parts are made by Seasonic

If you find something that is not on the list then its either brand new or its trash

I recommend you buy enermax psu and at least 600w to be safe even of you extreme overclock your components
