I think I broke my GPU!! Please help!!

So I have a 670 dual sli setup and it was working just fine for about 4 months, but today, I opened my case to see something on my motherboard and I touched the PCB of the bottom card (the one not connected to my monitor). The computer was on and it turned off. When it came back on (it did so automatically) I had crappy resolution, like when you first get your GPU and have no drivers. I deduced that the top card wasn't broken because it was transmitting an image to my screen as crappy as it may be, so it must be the bottom card. I turned off the PC and connected my DVI-D cable to the bottom card and nothing. Everything turned on, but no image. I turned it off again and disconnected the sli bridge and still nothing. So I reconnected the sli bridge and the DVI cable to the top card and re-installed the drivers and I got glorious 1080p. I opened a series of programs I had like nvidia inspector and EVGA precision X to name a few and it only found one card.

The top card has fans spinning slowly because that's the fan curve I set on Precision-X, but the bottom fan spins much more as it did before I set a fan curve. That's obviously because the card can't be found.

So that's what I got. Fans spin and sli bridge on or off doesn't make a difference. I can touch the top card and feel it hot and I can also feel the bottom card equally hot, so something seems to be working, be it the GPU core or the memory, I don't know...

Please help me as I live in Brazil and got that card in the US so I can't really exchange it or send it for repairs even though I still have the warranty.

Uninstall the drivers, reseat the cards then reinstall them.

Somehow I had to reinstall the drivers each time I removed the xfire bridge when I was using dual 6850s.

Can you not take both cards out and just try the bottom card to see if it works then?

Edit: Bottom card in top card slot.

Have you taken the bottom card and put it in the first pci-e slot? (see if it really is broke or maybe you put pressure on the pci-e slot when touching the card?) Try that and also uninstall and reinstall drivers.

OK I'll try to put it in the top slot. BTW, the bottom card is very hot. It's fans are faster than the top one (because I have a fan curve telling it to run slower than stock), but it's still much hotter. The top one is normal hot, but the bottom one is very hot. Like almost as hot as if I were running a benchmark! Any ideas as to why?

Not sure unless the drivers had the bottom card locked into the 3D clocks for the card?

Maybe you made a connection on the pcb between two different points when you touched it. Try also cleaning off the card with alcohol where you touched it.

Ok I tried out everything everyone has suggested, but nothing really worked. I recently switched the cards and there's good news and bad news. The good news is that the bottom card by itself displays an image. The bad news is that it's weird and full on artifacts. The interesting thing about these artifacts are that they disappear when there is a color change on them, or movement (we perceive it as movement, but technically, that pixel just changed color). However, there is a limit to how much of the screen you can have "clean". If I move my mouse cursor, I "clean" an area of the screen and where the mouse has been stays clean, but if I move my mouse like crazy, then where it was first starts to get artifacts again, so i clean part of the screen, but the part I cleaned first get's artifacts again. Here are some images:

Now when you said you touched the card, do you mean you just brushed the pcb with your fingers or did you press on it or was it a fingernail or what.

I'm thinking you may have broken off a little surface mount resistor or cap and that is causing incorrect voltages.
