Low Fps CS:GO With Good PC :( - Page 2

Depending on how much you are willing to spend, you should at least upgrade to a 7750, however like most people before me have said a 7850 or higher should be what you get if you can afford it. As for the time being, I think you may see a performance increase by using the 2500k's integrated graphics instead of the old card. Just a thought try it out if you can.

With a 650 your cpu will be sitting there doing nothing half of the time because he has to wait for the gpu. A 660 Ti better matches a 2500k's speed.

It's not a completely correct explanation and everything depends on which particular game you'll run but i hope you understand it smile.gif.

Just another suggestion, if you're working with a limited budget -- I would think that even a midrange Fermi like this would get you a performance hop over your current card. I would just be careful about the 1Gb VRAM limitation, depending on what resolution you game at (probably wouldn't want to exceed 1080p with a card like this).

Wut?

How can you have a 2500k with a motherboard without a PCI-E slot???

I did not think that kind of config existed on 1155 socket.

I assumed that he did a CPU/motherboard/memory upgrade, now has a P67 board that does not support the integrated GPU, and carried over the discrete 9300GS from the previous build.
