PSU getting pretty warm. - Page 2

Well, it seems that's the problem. I'm just wondering if it's normal to get quite warm or not. Your response seems to have pretty much answered my question.

under load yes it will get hot, like I said mine made my side panel hot, but now that it is pulling cool air from outside the case as bottom mount cases have a vent for the psu to pull in cool air (just don't sit the case on carpet) my psu is now very cool and the fan seldom has to spin up.

Nothing is wrong with heat, your probably using around 300-350watts internally. My PS gets pretty hot when it is closer to its max power output.

Powersupplys get hot when they are pushing a decent % of total power.
