Theron Infrared - Now in Infrared LED A309x flavor ?

This one has been released recently, seems they've implemented an infrared LED based optical sensor (DA killer ?), capable of 4000 cpi, most likely an Avago 3090 or a variant.

The shape seems alright to me...

Weird, it's ambidextrous in shape, but the buttons are designed for right handed use... I don't like the fact that it has a weight system, instantly makes me guess that even without weights it will be >100 g.

Let's see its performance though, if it's 3090 it might be good.

The statement they made just doesn't make sense. TT marketing got sucked into bigger marketing.

I wonder how the quality will be on a ThermalTake mouse. But I am looking for something that will be comfortable for a semi palm grip more so than my current 3.5g DA and preferably with a faster tracking sensor and a configurable DPI setting I can tie to one of the side buttons so I can transition to a lower DPI setting for sniping.

If this has all that and can do it in a quality package that FEELS good then I will definitely give one a try to add it to my stable of an M60 and 3.5G DA.

I got the original laser version. It will never beat DA with that shape imo. You'll have to buy it to see if you like the shape. I personally hated it redface.gif

looks cheap with the red sidebuttons and the dpi switch.
Aswell the logo is ugly.
+shape and guessing they weight are off

I can't say much on the quality of this mouse inparticalure but I do have the Tt esports Level 10 M Mouse and so far I really like it. Got it with my 2013 intel rig so I have only been using it for three months but so far so good. At least it is not all plastic like the Thermal Take Level 10 Case. A friend of mine got that and am really glad I had a chance to see his before I got one for that much money I would have thought it would have less plastic but it seems that it is mostly plastic really disappointing. Got a In Win GRone White edition instead and the only plastic on it is the very front and very top part the rest is 0.8mm SECC Steel but that is off point sorry.
