That 965 BE looks good, but I would pair it with the 970a-ud3.

A $10 promotion for each one and with the Gigabyte you keep the option of overclocking and/or upgradability. It will handle an FX cpu no problem.
Nice find on that Giga-byte.
So it will be this for this combo
AMD Phenom II X4 965 + $10 off w/ promo code EMCXTVW36, ends 3/27 = $94.99 with promo code $84.99

GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 + 10% off w/ promo code EMCXTVW88, limited offer = $104.99 with promo code $94.99
Grand total of $199.98 and with promo code of $179.98
This would be the best combo so far.

i like that combo. or if he can handle 210$ this seems like a solid choice for the money

However if you're by a microcenter go buy a i5-3470 and a cheap h61 mobo. they've got 2 on their site under 50$

Thats just because WoW only runs on 2 cores.

And yeah, Oondasta with 180 people or something will destroy any PC. They nerfed him though. A 40 man group should be able to kill him now lol.

Hmm I might have to look into this for my next PC, but if all he does is game I think a six core is overkill.. My quad at 4.5ghz stock volts does amazing on any game with my 7870 2gb.. But I agree if he can spare $10 yours is better choice for the future.
