Hello everyone this is my current gaming rig.

Hey Everyone,

My name is Chris and I am new to overclocking, since this is my first overclock build.

CPU I5-2500k Clocked at 4.5Ghz
Ram Gskill DDR3 2133 16GB Ripjaws X
GPU 2x XFX Radeon HD6950 2GB in Crossfire
Mainboard MSI P67A-G43
Primary HDD Seagate 2TB Barracuda 7200RPM
Secondary HDD 2x Western Digital 3TB Caviar Green
PSU PC Power and Cooling 950 Watt
Cooling 1x Cooler Master 212, 8x Cooler Master 120mm Blue Led Fans, 1x 200mm Antec Fan
Case Antec Eleven Hundred
Media Antec Veris Media Elite

This has been a work in progress since I am a broke college student. I still need to pick up a SSD for my primary drive. I need to get some dust filters for the side window fans. I also plan on swapping out main boards to a Z77 Chipset with 4x PCI-E Slots. Then I want to swap to the Ivy Bridge processor and snag 2 more of the HD6950s and a bigger PSU but that will have to wait lol.

Here are some pics of the build. The 8th pic is a set of switches I made to turn of the fans during start up because for some reason my PSU does not like the 7v mod I did and it trips the protection on it. If you have some advice on how to fix that let me know.

Can you tell me something more about Antec Veris Media Elite??

nice rig and welcome. However just some friendly advice, dont go with 4 way 6950s. If you want new cards it would be much better all around to go with 2 current gen cards smile.gif

I realized I don't have the elite I have the step above that one the Antec Veris Media Premier. It comes with the front panel you see on my computer and the remote pictured below. It allows you to set custom commands for programs such as Winamp or XBMC. I listen to music when I sleep so it's nice to be able to turn up or down the volume and I have the power button on the remote set to turn off the monitor. I have a second one in my HTPC so I don't have to use a keyboard and mouse. (I still have them but I rarely use them). The go button can be set to launch a single program or you can set it to bring up a list to choose from. You can set the front display to display just about anything when I am not playing music or movies, it list system temperatures. Under music it's a graphic eq. When playing a movie it shuts off. The power button can turn the pc on or off which is awesome on the HTPC. Eventually I will get a IR USB control so I can use it to turn on my entire home theater. Awesome piece of hardware. Highly recommend that for just about any build.

^^ Thanks a lot man!! Veris Premier looks really promising to me. A few days ago I was searching in amazon for similar products. That's why when I saw your player, it struck in my mind.
A perfect option for HTPC.
