Which is the best gadgets for system monitoring today? I need a gadget that can show GPU (not CPU) usage and temp, and I also need a hard drive monitor. I know there are some available last time I checked but which ones are the most used/most reliable?

I'm using this for drive monitoring. Nice and simple, maybe even too simple.

I use GPU Observer. It tells you the clocks, volts, temp and the fan speed it i running (plus more if needed). CPU i use the gadget for core temp. It works pretty well also.

Forgot to mention that I was looking for a %-based hard drive usage gadget, not an activity monitor. The only one I found (can't remember the name) didn't work with any other drive than C. It just showed a black square.

I like GPU Observer, I have used it in the past. Thanks for reminding me.

BTW does anyone know a good sound/volume widget preferrably with visual bars when sound is played?

+1 for this. But when i switched briefly to AMD 6970s it didn't seem to detect properly... Never had a problem with Nvidia cards.

For hard drives i use Sushis Drive info

edit: I think the original version of Sushis drive info had some problems, there was a fix released by someone else HERE
