Replacing Thermal Paste

I want to put some fresh TIM on my video card and CPU heatsinks, what is some good products? It's been a while since I have done it and when I did it last AS5 was the "good stuff".

Any non-conductive TIM will do. I prefer MX-2 over IC Diamond.

Any of the higher performing TIMs would be enough as they only differ a few degrees from one another
It's a computer.

That TIM is very difficult to handle and more conductive is impossible since its liquid metal biggrin.gif its the best tim available but only use it if you know what you are doing.

I suggest MX-4
I second the MX-4 suggestion, but as others have noted, all of the high quality TIMs are pretty much the same performance. The biggest factor is how they are applied. wink.gif

No but MX-4 is far better TIM AS5 is outdated. If you already have AS5 use it when it runs out buy some MX-4

If I were to go to Microcenter.com or Tigerdirect.com, What would be the best performing TIM I can get? They are both nearby. Radio Shack is close by too with AS5.

I really don't feel like ordering online when I can drive there and pick it up.
