Help me choose one of these mSSD's

Thread Starter
Hey, So I decided to get the mSSD upgrade via xoticpc.com for my Asus G55. I originally choose the Crucial M4's but they are out of stock, and they're not going to be back in stock anytime soon (apparently their shipment hasn't been shipped out yet). Could you guys recommend me an alternative?

These are the options:

120GB Mushkin Enhanced Atlas Series mSATA III ( + 159 )
128GB Solid State ADATA mSATA II ( + 165 )
128GB Crucial Solid State mSATA III ( + 169 )
120GB OCZ Nocti Solid State mSATA ( + 169 )
120GB Intel 525 Series Solid State mSATA III ( + 189 )

Thanks!

Edit: What I'm most worried about it a sandforce controlled, my apprehension might be uncalled for but then again I don't know much about SSD's except for what I read in articles etc. Haven't done my research and here I am.

I know Sandforce chips usually come in 60, 90, 120GB variants
And Marvell chips come in 62, 128GB variants,
Is this a good approach? Probably not right?

Hi,
That laptop is sold with an m-sata port empty ?
can you do ssd caching with it ?

oh and to answer your question well if you can't get the m4 then get an Intel, they've always been concidered the most reliable.

Yeah the mSATA is empty, You might be able to set up SSD caching... Yeah I guess I should go with Intel. Right now its either Intel or Mushkin.
Any thoughts?

can you not add one later and just pickup the M4 from a 3rd party. It really seems to be the best one from the reviews ive been able to track down

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-148-612&ParentOnly=1&IsVirtualParent=1

Out of stock atm, but it's also saving you $40

** cheaper on amazon and in stock

like I said, reliability, I don't expect your m-sata being a sata 3 so performances do not mater that much.
