Hook the cards up to the motherboard and fire them up! If u go to your amd catalyst and it says enable crossfire go ahead and do it then enjoybgetting good fps in your games lol... I ran 6870 crossfire up until a month or so u svhould be fine in 8x8 mode..... But if I were u I would measure performance with 1 card,.u can use a program called frapps then put the 2nd card in and run the same benchmarks or games u like! 6870cf will get u some damm good fps! I know mine did! Now iam keeping them as back up cards incase my current gpu schould fail. Still love my 6870s! Enjoy....

I forgot to add.... I hope u are using a good namehrand psu?! I ran my 2 cards with a 750 watt.psu from coolermaster, may not be the best but its not cheep either.i think for 2 cards the required power is 600 watts but dont quote me on it! Its always good to grab something with more power then u need so u have some headroom 4 future upgrades and overclocks etc etc..... Hope this helps. Can u post some pics when u are dpne so we can check it out?

850 is more then enough! not sure about the quality on xfx psus,if its anything like there gpus be careful! Alot of people here on ocn complain about xfx, I had a gpu from them myself and never experienced any problems! I guess it just depends if your lucky or not?glad to see your setup works enjoy and be happy!
