I read a thread about people having the exact problem with the same fittings, I'm using 1/3 x 3/4 primochill tubing and monsoon fittings and had good luck with them. It seem to me the problem is either 1. the fitting is a hit or miss with the od fitting being oval or defective or 2. the tubing is a little over size then spec.
