That's assuming the next consoles last that long and are successful. There could be serious disruptions to the console space. iPads, tablets, smartphones, etc weren't nearly as prevalent as they were when the PS3 and 360 launched. And just look at sales of Wii U...they are abysmal. Granted, the Wii U is pretty awful in my opinion, but it would be unwise to assume other consumer electronics aren't playing a role in that console's failure.
