That fits inside a CM Elite 120 Advanced. I need some suggestions. I have my i5-3470 running at 4Ghz with temps around 75C after about 15 min of Prime95 blend.

No takers? I just don't know the return on investment since I am not extreme OCing. More or less I game and web browse.

Thermalright AXP-100 will fit.
http://www.thermalright.com/images/cooler/axp-100/AXP-100%20Case%20compatible%20List.pdf

May I suggest you mount it so fan is pulling air out of cooler instead of pushing air in.. and mount your PSU so it is pulling air from inside of case instead of from vent in top of case. Doing this will draw the hot air coming out of cooler into PSU to be exhausted out of case and allow cooler to draw cool clean air off of motherboard.

I have the AXP-100 and found it cooled much better pulling air out versus pushing air into cooler. I did my testing on an open bench system and even there with a 140mm fan blowing air over top of test system from 20cm away. My guess is that air flowing down turned out when it hit the mobo, up when it hit the GPU, RAM and I/O cases and was then sucked back into fan as it came above the cooler.

Post #18 give temps for TY-100 push and pull on AXP-100

Hope that helps

Cut out a square opening on the side of your case. Also take out the HDD cage. I've got 2 cwc's in my elite 120 case. Works just fine! 4.3ghz here, 54c max.

Hope you have ssd's instead of normal HDD...it'll be a really right fit.

Thanks for the recommendation. I just don't know how over the top I want to go.

I want to refrain from modding ATM. I could fit a CWC in by relocating my SSD to my 5.25" bay....I wonder if they make a adapter that holds a 2.5" HD and 3.5" HD together in a 5.25" slot. thinking.gif

AXP-100 isn't over the top! In fact it sets under your PSU which is under your top. biggrin.gif

I do understand. It's not a cheap cooler. But keep in mind how well it does the job and how nice it would be. wink.gif

That it is. However this would also do the job cheaper. biggrin.gif
