Anyone have this phone?

I'm getting it for Christmas, and I'm interested to see what people on the same technical level as me think of it.

Thanks,
Amped

I'd say, it's only worth getting if the buttons on the front don't accidently get pushed in your pocket. If they somehow added a feature to disable the front-face keys when it's in your pocket, then I'd get it. But I hate how I accidently call someone and find out about it later.

Err... I'm pretty sure every phone has a lock feature, no?

Yeah I'm stuck on Verizon though, and this is the closest I can get to a smart phone while my parents still pay my phone bill.

Try the Moto Q, I think with a new plan it's like $200 or something.

One of my friends has the VX9800 and hates it. He says it's too big and Verizon cripples what you can do with it, not to mention the lame Verizon interface.

My E815 has a Moto interface which is IMO and all my friends who mess with phones a lot more user friendly, plus I can make ringtones etc.

I'd shell out a little more and pick up a Q.

Unfortunately, a data plan with Verizon costs a fortune, and I barely get a "New Every Two" discount if I buy the Q. That is what I was thinking at first, until I read up about it.

I just got mine and it does an auto key lock when the display goes black. you have to push a key an dthen ok to be able to use it again. Looks like it will work fine.
