GTX 670 under $250 and not on eBay for that price.....
April Fools Day.

Exactly what prices did they slash?

GTX 660 and Ti are still high as ever.

AMD prices is what I saw dropped.
so the gtx 660 is now 219$ or so? And the Tahiti LE which is almost as fast as the 670 is only 229$...clearly they need to do better.

It's officially-known that the 660 and original 650 Ti prices are dropping in the UK, and the US pricing will likely follow suit. Anything at the 660 Ti level and above is outside the scope of this new price war...

I find Nvidia's pricing quite unacceptable taking into account they bundle some mediocre in-game credits. That, however, did not stop me from buying two Asus GTX660 DirectCU for a total of $331 after I sold those codes for $60 total and two rebates for $20 each.

I also bought two MSI HD7950 Twin Frozr Boost cards for a total of $500 after selling game coupons for $25 each and two rebates $10 each.

As you can see, GTX660 should cost around $165 and HD7950 Boost around $250. Since video cards get a so called free bundle we are obliged to fork out a lot more money upfront.

Well I want a 660 non-ti so this will make me happy.

I was under the assumption the price drop already happen. Glad to know they haven't cause the current prices stink.

I just wanted to drop in and make an observation or two. There are a lot of really good posts in this thread. Its nice to see charts/graphs and other helpful visuals to help members understand the topic of the thread, specifically the price slashes, and how these NVIDIA price slashes relate to the AMD hardware equivalent (I recommend you guys throw some links to the sources to give us all more details on the topic at hand!).

Having said that, there have been a few posts that detract form the thread's topic, or have been unprofessional. I don't believe in censoring people's posts (but will delete any that are rude, add nothing to the topic, include profanity or are disrespectful), but do encourage you to post respectfully of each other. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Appreciate the objective heavy/smartly subjective feedback. Well done.
