Can't login to Windows 8, keyboard unresponsive

Hey guys, never had a problem like this before. I just finished installing PXP to use in Starcraft 2 on my laptop and it asked me to restart, and when it got back to the welcome screen with the clock, I can't do anything. None of the keys work, same with the mouse. I can't access the BIOS menu either due to this, so I really have no idea what the hell happened. I'm on my old laptop right now. Any help would be appreciated considering I'm not very computer tech inclined rofl.rolleyes.gif

Specs for the one with the issue:

HP Pavilion G7 Laptop
AMD A8 4500-M
Radeon 7640G
6GB RAM

The only keys that it seems I can use is FN+F12 to turn the wireless adapter on and off while at the welcome screen. I was able to get into the BIOS menu as well, the keys all work fine, just can't do anything on the welcome screen. Is there a way to create a USB recovery drive on the laptop I'm using right now which is Windows 7? I know 8 has a pretty easy way of doing it, but since I can't get past the lock screen I need to do this on 7.
