NZXT Hue or NZXT Sleeved LED?

Do they both get equal coverage inside the case? I'm honestly not worried about any other color than blue. Would I be better off going with the sleeved LED?

Actually ... I just changed my mind. xD

I have the LED Kit, White - 1m, it gave my PC a display look that I rather enjoyed, probably should have went with a 2m though to show off more. The HUE is multi-color but just takes up room.
If you had the money you could always get a NZXT Phantom 820. Has a easy change HUE wheel on the inside front. I really liked it, a lot of colors like the hue but at no added cost until you feel that they charged you for it in the purchase price. xD

If you have the room for the HUE and don't mind it there then that would be fine but I don't like the 5.25" slots being used in my builds because I don't use them so I don't like the HUE either.
I think that I would rather go with the LED Kit because you can easily mod it somewhere in your case as a button and since I like hidden things it would be better.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Yeah, I just bought my new CM Storm Trooper. As for using the 5.25" bays, I don't mind too much. I think I may end up going with the Hue simply because newegg doesn't carry the sleeved led in 2m blue.

There really was no wrong choice, it was simply what you liked more xD

Good choice thumb.gif

Another option: pick up 2-5 meter cheap LED strip from EBay with the RGB controller. Controller box is really small. There's a small IR remote sensor attached to it on a short wire. Put the controller behind your mobo plate or in an unused drive bay and rig up the sensor out where it can see the remote signals, but will be hard to see. I've got a couple of them, and I'm pretty happy with them for the price. Much cheaper than the HUE. You want the cables for it sleeved, do it yourself. Alternatively, you could ditch the controller, rig up a 3 channel (RGB) transistor board and drive the strips with an Arduino plugged into an internal USB header. Make any color you want, any fading pattern you want, or do other cool stuff like program it to change color for email alerts, change in time to music, etc.

That sounds really cool, but completely confusing tongue.gif
