I live in Turkey and an Intel 3570k is even more than 250 dollars. A 3770k is around 430 dollars. Thats the issue.

Don't concern yourself with the 3770k the difference is still relatively small compared to the added costs and since most i5's still OC higher than their i7 counterparts because of HT's added temps the difference becomes even smaller then.

I understand rdr09's point but he's still wrong since he forgets to realize that we should still be more GPU limited than CPU limited for the foreseeable future in most cases and the added gains of HT are less than the .75 cores on those AMD modules, that's aside from this terrible assumption that EVERYONE lives nears a MC and should recommend a 3770k (I do but that's besides the point and I'm tired of everyone assuming the i7 should be recommended before they even know where someone lives). Believe or not more people don't live near a MC than those who do...........

Unless you do editing and fold then 3570k and 7950 are still the best options and the 3770k's gains are not worth it. Your assumption is correct about spending less on a 3570k and more on a GPU but in this case this gen the difference between the 670 to 680 and 7950 to 7970 are so small it's not wourth it. Save the money, buy a 3570k, buy a 7950, buy a six pack of beer, get a second monitor and be happy. thumb.gif

7970 over a 680 any day of the week - but some ppl arent too fond of the Asus Direct CU cards - i have a Matrix and while its a great overclocker, youre kinda forced to use GPU Tweak if you wanna mess around with fan settings (both fans) and voltages.

Get a reference if you want bang for buck, or the Gigabyte Windforce if you want quality at a good price. I've been reading that you can now flash the Windforce Bios to get around the voltage lock.

Allright, I'm trying to decide. Will a mid tower case be able to use a 7950-70 or a 670-80?

Also, do you guys think I should avoid cases with cpu's already inside them?

I meant PSU's

What do you mean cases with CPU's inside them? Do you mean Store built pre-made PC's? If so I say avoid them unless you're really uncomfortable building it yourself and have fear of breaking something, otherwise I'm not sure what you're asking. As for Mid towers it depends on the towers and many mids have more than enough room for two 680's/7970's . Here's a pic of my mid tower the Fractal Designs Arc Midi with a 7970 Matrix Platinum which is a triple cooler card and I believe is the one that takes the most space vertically on the market. (not sure though)

Btw I'm off to bed but if you need any help picking a case head over to the case section and ask people there for their recommendations on mid cases, if you can provide them with links to where you will be purchasing them from than can help you pick the best case possible. Good luck, I'm off to bed. thumb.gif

I'm giong to build it myself ofc, but some cases come with pre installed psu's. For example: http://www.sanalmarketim.com/urun/adf09d9251f7ae1ca517f339304b116e/COOLER-MASTER-RC-912A-KWA750-HAF-912-Advance-GX750W-PSU-Pencereli-MidTower-Kasa
