Start in the bios editing thread in the nvidia forum. You'll have to use the Kepler bios editor as KGB won't work

I'd like to see a card with 80 ROPs. Seems to be such a huge dividing factor in card performance. If you can get ~25% of an increase in just adding a few more ROPs and a slight jump in the clock speeds, I wonder why most of the high-end cards just don't go full out.

80 ROPs? It'll be some time before that happens since the 7970 and 680 have 32 each, and even the Titan has "only" 48.

As far as upping volts: problem is the reference Nvidia GTX 660/GTX 650 Ti Boost = "OnSemi NCP5395 voltage controller on their card. It does not provide software voltage control via I2C, nor any monitoring features."

GTX 660Ti and above do not have this problem , nor do some aftermarket boards

Come on Domino, you know better than that tongue.gif...

Cramming a pipeline full with ROPs is only going to increase geometry output. You need to balance out logic units, TMUs play a very big part as well (mostly the difference between 500 and 400 series). If only it was that simple lol.

Also, you'd need memory controllers and VRAM for all the ROP clusters in there.
