Yeah, in a few years we'll need to have dedicated 220AC outlets for our computers

An 1100watt PSU that can only put out 900watts, nice.

It can put out more than 900W, they had the picture of the 900W model. Look at the model numbers in the picture and the story, they're different.

If you read the haardware secrets review that someone linked to, you will see that they could only get about 780W out of it. Not great considering they rated it fot 1,100W.

Comparable for the most part other then the fact that the pc has a single 12v rail. Either way, for $150 less I think I would go through the trouble of meticulously hooking up my pc and making sure that the rails are spread out amongst my hardware...
Except that PC Power & Cooling PSUs are guaranteed not to blow up under full load. They use much higher quality parts.

Tagan is no Logisys or Apevia - they're a good, reputable brand. While PC Power & Cooling is definently a step above the rest, I'd put them somewhere equal to FSP.

That was me... I personally would go with HW Secret's review. Definitely the most in-depth with actual hardware analysis. I can't wait to see if jonnyguru.com does he an analysis. 1100w for that price... What's that saying about something being too good?
Once again...

There is a reason that this is cheaper than PC power & cooling... Because it is a cheap psu. You will not be able to get 1100 out of this thing.
