Sounds logical to me!

Sooo... while SSD's are still kind of expensive, I have been contemplating getting a laptop hard drive to replace my old IDE drive. I figure that way, I can hide the new hard drive in the PSU cage, and get rid of the hard drive cage in the front of the case. I could also stick with just one hard drive as well, instead of having multiple, and the overall price would be much better.

I'm thinking after doing that, and getting a new PSU, I could also get an optical bad reservoir/ pump combo depending on the overall depth of the unit. I'm thinking of maybe doing a double bay one, but it would depend on how high I can mount my 230 fan. I would obviously have to cut into the front panel some, but that would be fine as long as the bay was secure.

Sounds like an idea, especially since the 2.5" laptop drives aren't all that pricey. SSDs are steadily becoming more affordable as well, so it would be a nice future upgrade. Overall I think your res/pump combo will work out nicely. biggrin.gif

Yeah, I'm hoping that the depth isn't going to be an issue, by the time that I get the pump and hoses in there. If it is, then I'll just get a normal pump/ res combo. I also need to get some fan extension cables, and some wire mesh for the PSU cage. I'll likely try and get that formed this weekend.

I also started to paint the silver trim on my front panel too. I still have a few more coats that I want to put on it, but it's been super rainy for the past week here. I put some blue split loom on the H100 water lines, and it doesn't look bad for now, but I think once I tear into it, and make it a custom loop, that I'll get clear hoses, and blue coolant/ dye.

So... kind of going with my plan of getting a dual bay reservoir, does anyone know if a good res/pump combo that is shallow enough to mount in the front of the case, in the optical bay space? I'd have to cut the front panel some with a dremel, since there is only the single bay hole. I figure I'll take the 230 fan off the front, mount the dual bay res/pumps, MAYBE mount a dvd drive on top or bottom of the res, then put in the H80 that I have above all that.

Once those things are in, create a custom loop using the H80 and H100. I may just try and use the pump from the H80/H100 instead of worrying about getting a separate one, but it kind of depends on whether the res that I get can be sealed through where the pump would normally mount.

I'm also still trying to find someone that can cut the side panels for me. I already have one done, but it's not as clean and straight as I would like. Maybe I'm just anal about it. :/

Suggestions???
