just before i had the fbs at 230 and the voltage at 1.5v it didnt look right when i played oblivion at 1.4v even tho it kept crashing at 1.5v
one thing while overclocking is test test test, and test some more for stability. when you're finding out your max overclocks you really can't be playing any games on it. run Orthos and super pi. if you can keep orthos stable on large fft's for 12 hours you'd be fine, 24 hours would be better.

also try to up your HTT more and lower your CPU multi. try overclocking that way.

A "dream" overclock would be 3 GHz, be happy if you get 2.8 GHz though

Your on an Opty. This is a 4000!

i cant get my 4000 to even stay at 2.8 GHz stable anymore :'(

Hoping that now im folding i've got the incentive to buggar about with a 10x multi!

They can get around 2.8ish with ease given that you have a decent all around rig. Anything higher take better cooling and a good stepping.

CPU? Mine runs at 1.55v all day long, all though i wouldn't try it with a stock heatsink!

RAM? Depends, really, only use more volts as a last resort
