Fermi TDLR bugs and drivers that made your card combustible .... crap solder jobs on the 8000 series that led people to bake their cards in a conventional oven just to make them work correctly. Nvidia cards are clearly not worth a premium at the high end but that's not stopping anyone. Perhaps now with the 1k price point some more faq's will be given? Probably not.

I always go with the best perf/value at any given time and both AMD/nVidia seem to trade blows in that department from generation, business as usual.

nvidia or AMD isnt falling behind lol

sure , AMD may not be the "first" and they know it , and they can exploit the advantages of being the second .

AMD/ATI will make some big money when the new gen consoles pops out ... sure its not on the PC side , but its in the business smile.gif

and remember , more money=more research=better technologies=FIGHT to the death with the competition

.... nVidia its just ... too big now , now on Tablets and Phones , on super computers , AMD knows it so they can use that as advantage , they are still alive , dont they ? lol

Well if they are falling behind I'm along for the ride. the last AMD card I own was the ATI x800.
Tbh I find most people who complain about AMD drivers are actually Nvidia card owners rolleyes.gif

I've owned both a 670 and currently two 7950's... and a single 7950 creams my old 670 when overclocked...

If this is the case why aren't these connectors placed on the edge and closest to the motherboard?
