Thread Starter
I have finally found a solution for the people NOT being able to overclock their ASUS 7970 DC II (NON-top).

I was quit dissapointed to find out that this card wasn't overclockable, because cooling is not an issue.
Recently I upgraded to the new MSI Afterburner BETA 3.0.0 BETA 7 and tried the build in Unnoficial Overclocking thingie.
To my great suprise I noticed that I could get the card higher that 1125-1575! I know that going higher was possible before BUT all those cards crashed. I read the threads, they all said: No gain, can't be done etc. I'm happily running this card at 1165-1660 STABLE after 1,5 hours of Heaven 4.0 biggrin.gif
Don't believe? Here are some pics. BTW: I didn't increase voltage, still can't figure out how.
