what is you CPU-NB Voltage at? I was stuck around 4.1Ghz till i went to 1.250V with The CPU-NB voltage then i was able to overclock more and lower my CPU voltage even. worth a try.

I thought it was at that? didn't ask as didn't want to complicate it further.

but auto nb voltage should be fine?
Worth a shot. mine was at auto and i would need about 1.45v toget to 4.3Ghz without crashing i upped the CPU-NB and NB a bit and was able to lower my voltage and now i am stable at 4.5Ghz 244Mhz-Fsb and X18.5 Multi with 1.4250v

Edit: I just checked i have my CPU-NB at 1.2875v and my NB is at 1.975v

hes new to overclocking so may have to explain how to change bus speeds.

but its usually fsb x multiplier. example 21 x 200 = 4200 (or like above 18.5 x 244) multi x bus

and like overamdclock said adjust the voltages accordingly. CPU NB voltage or VNB depends on mobo

I may even try experimenting again, but my motherboard throttles like mad at full load, vrm protection.

UPADTE!!

4.3GHz @ 1.4xxxV: None of the voltages work, always get error
4.2GHz @ 1.4xxxV: None of the voltages work, always get error

I'm going to post BIOS pictures very soon

Hopefully that will help people understand a little better

EDIT: What voltage should I start with on my NorthBridge, I have the option to edit them

Here are Bios pics

you can probably start a little bit lower than what im at above and if you have to increase it little by little.

Lmk if it helps.

CPU-NBv - 1.2875 start around 1.26 - 1.27, go up if you have to.

I would start with the CPU-NBV the NB you could leave stock for now unless your overclocking your NB too.

Nb i think is 1.2v stock but im not positive

Will do I'm going to try this now

Do you have steam. so I can get faster responses?

my stock CPU-NBv is 1.2500 and it goes up in .02 increments so I cant use 1.26-- Using 1.27

Alright My CPU-NBv is at 1.270v and core #3 Failed with the ILLEGAL OUTSUM so I'm going to up my voltage to 1.4600
