Are these temps okay?

Hi. I built my water cooling setup based off the Raystorm RX360 XSPC kit back in July. I haven't really tried overclocking my rig until now. I load up prime after trying to overclock to 4.6GHz on my 3930k and these temps seem a bit high. What do you guys think?

Ambient is ~23-25C

Forgot to list build:
CPU: 3930k
mobo: P9X79 Pro
Case: Switch 810

Water cooling parts:
CPU: XSPC Raystorm
RAD: XSPC RX360
Pump: D5 Vario
Res: XSPC Dual bay D5

They dont seem too bad. For 1.368 volts. You could try re seating your cpu.

I'll try that next time I do maintenance (in ~a month). Also, just noticed that there's a slight kink in one of my tubes. It's not too bad, but would that affect temps too dramatically?

Honestly it doesn't get much better than that with your configuration. What speed do you have your pump at? With just one block 3 out of 5 should be fine for a D5 (I think).

Also-

What TIM are you using? Did you spread or do the pea dot method?

Are you using distilled water or some pre-mixed coolant?

Thanks for your response. The reason why I ask this is because people with H100s seem to get the same temps as me even though custom loop is supposed to be better.

My pump is at 1.5. There is almost no difference that I can see from 1-5. I only have my CPU and GPU water cooled.

I am using MX-4. If I remember correctly, I used the line method.

I am using distilled water with a silver coil.

I wouldnt be worried. Whats the throttling temp for your cpu? As long as you are below it when benching I see no problems though.

SB-E's TJ max is 91C. I assume it throttles at that temperature.

If it's maxing 75C in Prime you're fine. You should see load temps closer to 60 otherwise.

MX-4 is one of the best compounds out there, but I'm not sure about the line method. It probably doesn't make a difference, but I would try a dot next time you get the chance.

Even if it doesn't seem to make a difference, turn that pump up a,little higher. D5's are super quiet, so it couldn't hurt.

Yeah I just tried turning the pump to 4. While it did drop temps by ~3C, it also vibrates a ton. I think the little kink before it enters the radiator could be affecting the performance of my setup. I'll do my flush maintenance a bit earlier i guess. Thanks everyone!

Also, how much difference would adding a 240mm radiator do?

One last question. I've been reading about how the raystorm isn't the best block for the 2011 socket because of its extreme bow. Does anyone know what difference I would see if I sold my block and bought a CPU380 or EK supremacy?
