hah , no

it has to do with the contract of ESN sonar thing or whatever that is , in the end , its because of EA , not Dice capabilities .

there was a Tweet about that from some of the Dice Team and a EA boss or something like that

That's if people don't tell you to shut up for trying to suggest what to do! tongue.gif Even if they do implement VOIP (which I'm sure they will for BF4), I'll still use Teamspeak. That's pretty much guaranteed teamwork.

Basically i paid $80 to be a beta tester for BF4.

Dont get me wrong though BF4 looks fantastic and that 17min vid looks more polished and with less over the top colour scheme it could a big winner im just not going to pay release price for it.

He was talking about BF2

I bought every bf game on release and they all had bugs, the amount of things in the game of course there are gonna be bugs; bf games have tons of guns, vehicles to balance as well as to optimize large maps; compared to other games similiar such as Arma and Planetside I would say BF has had much less bugs than both of them. However if you are gonna compare it to something like CSGO which is essentially a rebranded source and starcraft 2 of course it has alot more bugs.

Again any bf fan knows of the amount of bugs bf games ship with, why do they keep getting the game on release? Because maybe they would rather take 1 hr of bf working fine rather than another game that is bug free.

Most they could do is a whole butt load of new maps with some new 3D models and textures.

I love how ignorant everyone is.

BC2 character models and assets in the early gameplay trailers was vastly different than what the final character models looked like.

Same with Bf3.

Why do you assume these will be the final character models and assets for bf4?

People like you are the reason why companies like EA release games unfinished and full of bugs.
You just keep on throwing money at them.

People say "well vote with your wallet"
You make doing that completely pointless.

GSGO is released with little bugs because of how much they tested the game before release, they made a huge deal about how the game plays. Why? Because a good gamer expects the game play to be a big deal, you aren't buying a digital movie are you? I'm not, I expect to play my game instead of watch it go by.

With that said, companies like EA/Acitivision don't really release games with a huge amount of testing. Mainly because those aren't going to be big games 2 years later, either they will release a new one or change the game to something else. It's not ment to be a solid game that you can play for a long time, life expectancy of the game is 2 years. If that's all, why spend so much on releasing a product that you will probably drop in 2 years. Not worth it, get the game working without any major bugs (known) and release it as is. Anything that comes up major will be patched quick, everything else gets pushed aside unless a ruckus is made. That is how most new games are released, as once the game is released their is no income after purchase. It's all loss, few companies have the customer relationship to ignore the loss and deliver a solid product.

Take Bioshock Infinite, I've seen quite a few annoying bugs so far. I bet major ones will be patched, anything else is going to stay in the game till the end. It's a one time SP game, no return profit after sales so expect little support after release. These aren't people, they are businesses. As such, they are going to follow the best model they can for the most amount of profit while not alienating their customers.

[edit] Before DLC gets pointed out, it's the new method for recouping loss after sales. Instead of a modding community you can make money doing it yourself, as well as fix patches along the way. The effort in the "dlc/mods" is minimal but makes up for the effort in patching.

Same here. I'm no Rihanna fan, but I loved the way the BF theme mixed into it in the end. It got me hyped!

As far as graphics are concerned, I don't know what all the complaining is about. It looked gorgeous to me, and that silo (?) explosion produced the most realistic mushroom cloud I've ever seen in a game.

This is going to be my first pre-order in over a year tongue.gif

I'm one of those big-time Battlefield fans, so obviously I can't wait for this.

I think they've learned a lot from/since BF3. 4 is going to be phenomenal. The graphics have been amped up. Check Fault Line BF3 gameplay and compare it to this. The lighting, shaders, and shadows have all been improved.

Squad functionality in campaign. Open-ended style levels, just like in multiplayer.

Chinese faction (apparently), Chinese vehicles, obviously new maps, guns, SETTING (not gonna be in Tehran or whatever like BF3), and this is an instant pre-order for me. I've already pre-ordered it, actually.

I love DICE and EA and will continue to support both of them even if everyone else hates them, because I can see the good things that keep coming, and to be honest, I just love me some Battlefield.

It's great you're a huge fan. I too am a pretty huge Battlefield fan and personally can't wait for BF4!

But...and the next part is very important...

STOP PRE-ORDERING GAMES FOR THE THE LOVE OF GOD.

Please, I'm literally BEGGING you not to pre-order it. Do it for the sake of the entire gaming industry.
