What resolution at you at ? What are you using to overclock ?

Can we get a screen shot of CPU-Z and Load CPU temps.
Maybe your CPU is throttling from the heat.
CPU going above 84c?

The videocards will go upto 104c before they start acting to funny and just shut off.

Also maybe try and use afterburner and overclock your cards to 750mhz with just a slight voltage bump for both cards to run at the same speed and voltage. I noticed in a couple of the shots the first card was using slightly lower voltage.

What are your tombraider settings?
I know for a fact that you should have zero problems with that game, as I just finished beating it a few days ago.
Like I said before 98% for each card should be doable in that game for sure.
Make sure you have the latest patch installed (steam should be doing it for you)

My whole system is water cooled so the cpu is not more than 55C. But it will send CPU-Z pictures tonight.

How much of a voltage buff are we talking about to use it at 750 ? I will install afterburner again.

Tomb raider is running at everything cranked up , expect tessellation and hair thingy. And it is patched i guess as steam does it by itself.

But how come crysis goes up to max and others cant ? :S
post #16 of 21
This might seem diminutive, but is vsync disabled when you run these tests?

Crysis is a more system taxing than the other titles you mentioned, so it will crank up your system @ 60FPS likely if you have everything maxed out

to make sure, whitelist the game in question in the nV control panel and disable vysnc through nV as well

For tombraider set everything to max even tessellation.
Just turn the AA to FXAA and hair to normal.
Report back and tell me how it runs.

This is after 1 hour of Tombraider running.
CPU was at 50C and %27 usage.

If you are running in Full Screen (Borderless) Window Mode then this might be the cause of Aero. Might need to have Dual Monitors for this to affect you.
Does running the game in True Full Screen cause the same problem?

Try disabling Aero. Unfortunately this will also disable any V-sync from working in any window mode.
