Who here had the oldest computer and what was it.? Also is your current mobile phone faster.?

For example my father brought home a Digital Rainbow 100 for me to place with when I was a kid.
And this is the first ever unit I DESTROYED... biggrin.gif

Type Personal computer
Release date 1982
Operating system CP/M, MS-DOS, UCSD p-System, Concurrent CP/M, Venix
CPU Zilog Z80 @ 4.012 MHz and Intel 8088 @ 4.815 MHz
Memory 64 - 896 kB

and my phone is a HTC EVO 4G, and it's specs here:

Operating system Android 2.3.3
Released December 15, 2010, HTC Sense, upgradable to 2.3 via HTC
CPU 1 GHz Qualcomm QSD8650 (Snapdragon)
Memory 512 MB RAM
Storage 1 GB ROM (358 MB free)
Removable storage 8 GB microSD (up to 32 GB supported)

Just curious type of thread as it's time to upgrade my phone and I just saw a 5.25" floppy on the History Channel.. tongue.gif
Cheers.

Worked all summer in 1980 to buy this:

Atari 400 with membrane keyboard. Used an old TV for a monitor and a cassette player as an external disk drive. I would imagine everyone’s phone is faster than that.
