Is it worth flashing this rom to S3? Will I get any significant benefits with it? Share the experience.

Benefits over...? You might want to list what you currently have installed and I'm sure someone could give you some of the differences over what you currently have installed. thumb.gif

Custom roms is always worth it it will make your device fly

I gave up on using custom roms after my htc eris. I found them to be too buggy and never found one I liked. I personally just root the phone after the warranty is up so I can remove unwanted apps and leave the stock roms.

I love 4.1.2 on my gs3, but I was also stuck on 2.2.3 for the last 2 years before getting my gs3, so 4.1.2 is a huge improvement over 2.2.3 anyways, lol

Imo, I wouldn't do a custom rom yet. The gs3 should be getting ota key lime pie around May. I would wait for that', and If you don't like it then consider a custom rom.

All current roms are Unofficial meaning no "Real" dedicated support. I say stick with a Stable 4.2.1 and wait.

wow I can't believe you would say that " no dedicated support" the Devs work there asses off 24/7 to make sure you have a stable safe ROM that's better than stock you better rethink more like stock doesn't have support have you ever even heard of cyanogenmod?

I never meant it like that, I know Dev's work very hard to push out updates but they are no match against a Team of Developers. I never meant to say they do nothing or are nothing. It's just that on a mainstream phone like this, it's better to go with a team supported Rom. My Optimus G is held by a Unofficial Dev and I know how hard it must be to find bugs fix then and so on. Never endless cycle.
