This is the pattern that I would have liked to cut in my metal panel. I know this is a bit too much, but one can dream. Right? Print maybe a bit light to see...

I might try to paint that pattern now or see about tinting the all around it, and just leave the meditating person clear.

That is going to be a bit difficult to cut, but it would look amazing if you could manage the curves correctly. A jigsaw blade works well for gradual curves and you can always file for that precision look. thumb.gif

I cut mine like he is doing with a jigsaw and it worked great! The edges turned out very nicely. Obviously had to cut fairly slow to get the nice edge. thumb.gif

Thread Starter
Allright, I gave the metal cutting a go. Here is what the rough cut looks like. Unfortunately, I had to do with dremel - jigsaw was just too hard for me to control (did not have proper bench/mount to work with).

This is how it is gonna go on the panel. I first thought of JB welding it first to the panel and then put acrylic. But now I am thinking I will attach it to the acrylic itself with countersink screws (lots of em). I will still need to trim some stuff off.

Any other ideas to attach this piece will be greatly appreciated. Also any tips of countersinking screws will be greatly appreciated. Do not want to mess this up.
