[LRs/AMD] Battlefield 4 Demo ran on HD 7990 - Page 12

So is BF4 going to be optimized for AMD/ATi? If so thats great news.. I do believe almost all games will be optimized towards amd ati in the future because of the new xbox and ps4 using amd hardware.. Not sure though on the 7990... Its little to late tbh...

Not gonna lie. I'd buy it.

they probably used the 7990 to have enough power for the lack of optimazition and to advertise the new card

I think he said fastest monogpu (by that I took it as single chip)

Edit: reading comprehension fail at my end, my apologies, I take it all back smile.gif

For some odd reason a lot of demo's are run on PC using a controller (there are articles about this, from E3 IIRC, it's not only EA who do this ). I have absolutely no idea why they use a controller. They use the PC for the powerful hardware obviously.

Not sure why AMD is so excited about this 7990. Not only is it horribly late to the party, there have been "unofficial" 7990's out there for a while as well.

I feel like the only way I will get BF4 is if it comes bundled with a amd or nvidia gpu game bundle though.

At least we know bf4 isn't any more difficult to run than bf3.
The 690 is dual and is better then the titan and 7990 is better then both. I don't understand your sarcasm.

And dual Titan beats them again tongue.gif

Realistically, you can beat either with SLI 680s or Crossfire 7970s

And dual titan costs dual HD7990 / GTX690 money.

Plus two cards use more energy than a dual gpu card and nowadays ITX builds are extremely popular for gaming and those mobo only have 1 PCI slot.

Scaling isn't there for 4 cards, I'd rather have the two personally.

Single slot on ITX is annoying, I might go mATX for my next build though so I can keep the SLI option open smile.gif

Titan has a 1 month ago, 7990 (2 chips 7970, chips in late of 2011) have 1 year and 5 months ago. 1 year and 5 moths is very much time in this world (hardware) thumb.gif

Even so dual titan I think is faster 20-30% than dual 7970 Ghz clocks, not yield to rave
