[LRs/AMD] Battlefield 4 Demo ran on HD 7990 - Page 14

/sarcasm

In all seriousness, even if the 7990 is faster in framerates it's going to feel choppier than GTX690 thanks to the insane stuttering with CFX. Now that we have new benchmarking methods arising, AMD's stuttering/latency issues have become apparent enough for them to release an official statement. 690 also has it but nowhere near the same extent....

Let me just preface this with the fact that I have a GTX 670...

Why would anyone buy a GTX 690 with the 7990 released with fixed drivers for 'miccrosutter'. Yes... There is a reason that AMD is fixing the XFire drivers. As it currently stands, the GTX 680 usually gets raped by the 7970 at the 1440p (1600p) mark. So besides power consumption and folding power, who the blank cares?

I would much rather sit on my couch and play a game with a comfortable pad than sit upright in a chair 2 inches from my screen, especially for single player games.

I'm just the opposite, lol. I love RPGs on the PC as you have so much higher IQ for immersion. I tend to be to twitchy with the mouse when playing on PC so the controller helps me slow town. I will admit though, that auto aim on the consoles drives me INSANE!

is this where the 680 is getting raped?

Smallest clean looking mATX case that might be similar to a Node 304? Please let me know if you find something like this.

I'm still looking lol, I want A Rampage Gene (or whatever the equiv will be) but need 3 mechanical HDD + 1 SSD, SLI in a lovely clean little package. The missus is still making jokes about the size of this 700D 12 months on biggrin.gif

If I find this magical mATX case, PMs will be sent thumb.gif

Coming from personal experience, I would be wary about giving AMD your money. X-fire has nothing but problems. Fix one thing, break two others. Save yourselves from the nightmare.

I don't need too, look at those Titan numbers! tongue.gif

I need space for 1 mechanical and 3 ssds. If needed I would buy a 2.5inch mechanical drive if that was going to make everything fit.

I get my U3014 tomorrow and I'm going to disable sli and see how well 1 titan does at 2560x1600. If it's good enough I may sell one of my titans and do a node 304 build.

I know we're off topic but BioShock is 70fps+ on a single card @2560x1440, Crysis 3 is a different matter on very high thumb.gif

They could probably up the sense and play a bit more like they weren't using godmode, but I, and many others much rather see someone play slow and sluggish to be able to see the details in the game.
